Description: Grizabella is an old cat, who has been shunned from the Jellicle tribe. No one knows why for a fact but it is speculated that she left the Jellicle tribe when she was young to pursue a glamorous lifestyle. However as she got older she lost her good looks and is left with her memories and her need to be accepted. She begs the Jellicles to touch her, telling them they will understand what happiness is when they do. By the end of the musical she is accepted back into the tribe and is chosen to go up to the Heaviside layer
